LAWA Leather — Returns & Refunds Policy
Effective date: 20.10.2025
We want you to love your LAWA Leather item. If something isn’t right, this policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work.
1) Return Window

Change-of-mind / fit: return within 14 days of delivery.

Defective or wrong item received: report within 7 days of delivery (these cases are also covered by our Limited Warranty; see Warranty Terms).
To be eligible, items must be unused, in original condition, with all tags, accessories, and packaging. A valid proof of purchase is required.
2) Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene, customization, or value protection reasons, the following cannot be returned (unless defective):

Personalized or custom-made items (e.g., monograms, embossing)

Final sale / Clearance items marked “non-returnable”

Gift cards and downloadable content
-
Opened care products (cleaners, conditioners)
3) How to Start a Return

Email support@lawaleather.com with your order number, item(s), and reason for return.

We’ll reply within 2–3 business days with a Return Authorization (RMA) and instructions.

Ship the item back using a trackable service. Items returned without authorization may be refused.
Return address and any local options will be provided in your RMA email.
4) Return Shipping & Costs

Change-of-mind / fit: return shipping is paid by the customer.

Defective, damaged, or wrong item: we’ll cover reasonable return shipping (or provide a prepaid label, where available).

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
5) Exchanges
Want a different size or color? Start a return as above and select Exchange in your email.

If the requested item is in stock, we’ll reserve it for 7 days after issuing your RMA.

If out of stock, we’ll proceed with a refund or store credit, per your preference.
6) Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the approval or denial.

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days (your bank/issuer may need extra time).

If you paid duties/taxes on import, these are not refunded by LAWA Leather; please contact your local customs office to reclaim where possible.

Currency conversion differences or bank fees are outside our control.
7) International Returns
Please mark returns as “Returned Goods” on customs forms.
We are not responsible for duties/taxes or delays caused by incorrect documentation. Any fees charged to us for misdeclared returns may be deducted from your refund.
8) Items Lost or Damaged in Transit
You are responsible for the goods until they reach us. Use adequate packaging and a trackable, insured service. We cannot refund items that do not arrive or arrive damaged due to insufficient packaging.
9) Wrong, Missing, or Damaged Items on Arrival
Please contact support@lawaleather.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and item. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate and cover associated shipping.
10) Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to the recipient, approved returns may be issued as store credit to the recipient.

If the item was not marked as a gift or the giver had the order sent to themselves, we will refund the original purchaser.
11) Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA & UK Only)
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK and purchased online, you may have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day you receive the goods.

Returned goods must be in unworn condition, with all original tags, labels, and emblems attached.

To exercise your right, send a clear statement (email is fine) to support@lawaleather.com before the period expires.

You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us. You bear the direct cost of return, unless we agree otherwise.

We will refund all payments received from you (excluding any supplementary delivery costs for non-standard shipping) within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods or proof of return.
12) Statutory Rights & Governing Law
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
Unless mandatory local law provides otherwise, this policy is governed by the laws of Poland (without regard to conflict-of-law rules), and disputes are subject to the competent courts as mandated by applicable consumer law.
