Returns and Refund Policy
This policy explains the rules for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1) Return period
• Change of mind / wrong size: return possible within 14 days from the delivery date.
• Defective or incorrect item: must be reported within 7 days from the delivery date (such cases are also covered by our Limited Warranty – see Warranty Terms).
To be accepted, the Goods must be unused, in their original condition, with all tags, accessories, and packaging. A valid proof of purchase is required.

2) Non-returnable items
For hygiene, personalization, or value protection reasons, the following Goods are not returnable (unless defective):
• personalized or made-to-order products (e.g., monograms, embossing);
• final sale items / marked as “non-returnable”;
• gift cards and digital content;
• opened care products (cleaners, conditioners).

3) How to return
Download and fill out the return form (HERE) and send it to kontakt.lawaleather@gmail.com, providing the order number, returned item(s), and reason for return.
We will reply within 2–3 business days with return authorization and instructions.
Send the Goods back via a trackable shipment. Returns made without authorization may be rejected.
The return address and available local options will be provided by e-mail.

4) Return shipping costs
• Change of mind / wrong size: the Customer bears the cost of return shipping.
• Defective, damaged, or incorrect item: we cover reasonable return shipping costs (or provide a prepaid label if possible).
Original delivery costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our fault.

5) Exchanges
Want a different size or color? Start a return according to the above procedure and mark “Exchange” in your message.
If the Goods are in stock, we will reserve them for 7 days from your notification.
If the Goods are out of stock, we will issue a refund or store credit, depending on your choice.

6) Refunds
After receiving and inspecting the return, we will inform you whether it has been approved or rejected.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days (your bank may require more time).
If you paid duties or taxes upon import, LAWA Leather does not refund them – please contact your local customs office.
Exchange rate differences and bank fees are beyond our control.

7) International returns
Please mark customs documents as: “Returned goods / Returned item”.
We are not responsible for duties, taxes, or delays caused by incorrect documentation. Any fees charged to us may be deducted from the refund amount.

8) Goods lost or damaged in transit
You are responsible for the Goods until they reach us. Use proper packaging and a shipment with tracking and insurance. We cannot refund Goods that do not arrive or are damaged due to insufficient protection.

9) Incorrect, missing, or damaged goods after delivery
Contact us at kontakt.lawaleather@gmail.com within 7 days from delivery, attaching photos of the packaging and product. We will arrange an exchange, repair, or refund and cover shipping costs.

10) Gifts
If the Goods were marked as a gift and sent directly to the recipient, an approved return may be processed as store credit for the recipient.
If the Goods were not marked as a gift or were sent to the purchaser, the refund will be issued to the original buyer.

11) Right of withdrawal
If you live in the EU/EEA or the United Kingdom and made an online purchase, you may have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after you receive the Goods.
Returned Goods must be unused, with all original tags, labels, and emblems.
To exercise the right, send the return form (also by e-mail) to kontakt.lawaleather@gmail.com before the deadline.
You must return the Goods within 14 days after notifying us. You bear the direct cost of the return.
We will refund all payments received from you (excluding delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned Goods or proof of dispatch.

12) Statutory rights and applicable law
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
Unless mandatory local law provides otherwise, Polish law applies to this policy, and any disputes are resolved by the competent courts in accordance with applicable consumer law.
